Quality of Life Program
Launched in 2018, the Quality of Life Program is transforming Saudi Arabia into a world-renowned sports and entertainment location, a global tourism hotspot, and a top-ranked country people can call home.
Enhancing a wide variety of sectors, the Program focuses on the empowerment of arts and culture, the promotion of sports and leading a healthy life, and the development of more livable urban areas. In addition to creating exciting new sectors and diversifying economic activity, the Program is bolstering local employment opportunities and beautifying cities across the Kingdom.

Key Targets for the Quality of Life Program
Target 1:
Increase the average life expectancy from 74 years to 80 years
Target 2:
Raise Saudi Arabia's Social Capital Index ranking from 26th to 10th place
Target 3:
Rank 3 Saudi cities amongst the top 100 globally
Target 4:
Increase the population's rate of weekly exercise from 13% to 40%
Target 5:
Double the number of Saudi properties sites inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List
Target 6:
Increase household annual spending on local cultural and entertainment activities from 2.9% to 6%
